| Craniosacral Therapy I was wondering what this involved today so I looked it up and here's what I found on it: Craniosacral therapy is when the therapist uses a very gently touch to detect restrictions and then subtle movements, often on the plates of the skull, to assist the hydraulic forces of the craniosacral system and encourage the body's natural healing powers.
Applied by itself or in concert with other kids of bodywork, craniosacral therapy can be used to help relieve whiplash, head and neck injuries, temporamandibular joint syndrome, balance problems, effects of trauma and a host of other disorders.
Today, a variety of health professionals perform this type of therapy including osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists and physical therapists. One of the things it suggested is to check the Therapist's credentials in this type of practice. They should display some type of credentials.
Anyone experience this before ? |
