This is actually the kind of conversation and thinking that made me question faith. It was mention that god doesn't make you be addicted to crack.
Technically yes. Addiction is a genetic trait and god made genes. Why would he/she give you such an obstical and then NOT give you a fair role model to teach you otherwise. You don't know to look both ways before crossing the street unless someone teaches you too.
Suicide isn't a selfish or evil choice. It's a form of mental illness. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain, usually inhereited from a parent. Why would god give you this and then put you in a world that believes mental illness is both a selfish life style choice?
Another example is when people say 'By the grace of god I was spared death.' and by the grace of god 200 others were taken.

Like I said, I'm still searching for peace and light to believe in again.
