Name of product - Jitterbug
Gauge - Uhhh. I'd have to dig and look. It's sock yarn.
Technique - Sockies!
General impression - The yardage is kind of short, but you can squeeze out a pair of socks. The colors are TOO. DIE. FOR. I got the velvet plum color, which is a semi-solid wine color. Very soft yarn and superwash so no felting or fuzzing. Manufacturer - Blue Moon Fiber Arts
Name of product - Seduction 50/50 Merino/tencel
Gauge - 7st/in on size 3
Technique - lace socks
General impression - I wish this came in more colorways, and I wish it wasn't so damn expensive. My socks came out delicious. Nice and shiny but still soft and not "plant-y" like pure tencel feels. Whoever suggested on the label to use size 3s was on crack. I used a size 1, and I'm a loose knitter, and it was a nice fabric, but I still could have gone down to a 0 and been happy. Overall, a great yarn that I'd use more often if I could afford it. I used the Puck's Mischief colorway and was happy to find there was no weird pooling, just lovely goodness. Manufacturer - Mystical Creations Yarns (on Etsy and eBay)
Name of product - 100% Tencel laceweight
Gauge - No label provided.
Technique - Nothing yet. I'm still pissed off at this yarn.
General impression - STAY AWAY from this seller. The yarn was grossly misrepresented in the pictures. The color wasn't even close. It also took almost a month to get to me, and the seller was rude and lied about shipping. |
