Homemade foot deodorant that gets right to the source of trouble with odor (BACTERIA). add 40 drops of lavender, geranium or cypress essential oil (all have antibacterial properties), to four ounces of an unsceneted light skin lotion. Apply twice a day, morning and evening or after a workout. To Help your shoes:
Try sprinkling a few drops of geraniium essential oil directly into your shoes, or put a couple of drops of lemon oil onto a cotton ball and leave it in the offending shoes for a few hours. Even better do that while placing them in the sun. Toe Fungus:
An alternative method would be to apply tea tree oil to the affected area twice a day, which itself might require months to work. Grapefruit seed extract is another remedy if tea tree oil doesn't do the trick. But give it two months to clear the fungus. |
