Do you go up and down all the aisles? Go around the perimeter???
When I go to my fabulous local grocery, I do most aisles, as it is basically one huge health food store, with a wonderful selection of not only organic fruit/veggies, but groceries as well.
But, when I go to a regular store, Krogers, etc, I never walk up the aisles!
Strange, but true.
They have a little natural foods section, right by produce, so after I get my fruit/veggies, I go there and get all my cereals, ketchup, beans, you name it, all the organic/more healthful groceries are right there!
Then, I walk along the back, right down to the other end, to get my.... beer!
They save if you avoid the inner aisles, you'll avoid most of the processed, nasty food that you don't need anyways.
Oh, and that route does take me by the Krispy Kremes, but I try to close my eyes.
