I love being in the pool and just floating, too. It is so relaxing and just allows you to meditate, relax and breathe.
Another thing, when I was suffering with a chronic back condition, the ONLY thing that helped with severe pain was water.

I did water therapy and it worked wonders. And when I wasn't at therapy and my back was killing me and even when it still acts up today, I get in the pool.

If I hook my arms around something that floats and just "hang" there, it releases all of the pain. Its wondeful!
