I'm in Venezuela. Met with my ex-coworker who got laid off last month, but he thought we were doing coffee and I thought we were doing dinner so I didn't eat until laaate and I was FAMISHED! But it was good I met with him, he told me that on Wednesday, apparently someone had planned a 5 hr drive for me (um, and when did they want me to do WORK? Ya know the work I got flown down here for?) and he suggested instead that I fly instead of drive. BRILLIANT! And he's even helping me with the arrangements he's too sweet!

but now I need to desperately get ready and go to bed, gotta wake up for a 7am pickup and a 1.5 hr drive to my first meeting of the week...
