What is your Totem

My Lifetime is a Turtle.. always drawn to them... I have a turtle pincushion I made when I was 6! And I call Randy turtle.. I just love them...

Exmine the animals you are most interested in and the time of your life the interests piqued. ( I am just learning all of this from the books Animal Speak by Ted Andrews and Animal Spirit Guides by Steven Farmer)
1)Which animal or bird has always fascinated you?
2)When you go to the zoo which animal were you drawn too - especially important when you were a child.
3)What animals do you recoognize when you are out in nature
4)What animals frighten you the most (those have something to teach you - something to come to grips with)
5)Which animal are you interested in now?
6)Have you ever been bitten or attacked by an animal?
7)Do you have dreams with animals in them or are there dreams you have never forgotten?

These questions will tell you what animals are probably totems in your life. Children are drawn to animals that are messengers to them. If you remember specific animals from when you were a child, that is a significant totem.

All of this I found in books by Ted Andrews or Steven Farmer. I wish this was my wisdom but it isn't

I am just learning this but the message animal varies from time to time. If you see an animal in threes or in a very profound way or not just the phisical animal but pictures or overhearing someone speak about it, that animal is the one you need to look up. That is giving you a message. Make sense?
