I specifically DO NOT celebrate St. Pat's day, because of the history of it. I wear black on that day. (I also wear black and mourn on Columbus day, but not for religious reasons).
In general, I celebrate pagan holidays, and touch on, but don't make a big deal about their christian counterparts. Because most of our extended family is christian, and I am the lone pagan, my kids get Easter cards, Christmas cards and the like, so I can't just ignore them
