Bright blessings! I was planning on dying eggs with DS today, but I had two final exams today and didn't get the chance. DF will be helping him do eggs tomorrow and we'll hunt for them tomorrow night after I get off work.
This is my most favorite time and when I used to host wild women parties, it was always at this time. Those were fun - women came from everywhere and stayed the weekend. No men allowed.
The wisteria would bloom just in time. It hangs over my front gate, so you enter through a halo of purple fragrant blossoms. It's about 50 years old and amazing.
I'm going to resurrect that event one of these years. It's a total fest!
We will be dying eggs to hide and find, and for me it is a spring ritual instead of Easter. I have been celebrating already talking to my earth, trees, and future garden, and actually sat outside and read a book and meditated for a bit and enjoyed nature. Very nice!!!!!

As the saying goes, when a door slams shut in one place a window opens somewhere else. After staring at the door for many years, it finally occured to me to go look for the open window. I discovered I like sunlight and warmth much more than peeling old doors anyway, so I climbed out the window and reveled in my discovery. I will never sit behind a closed door again, no matter how comfortable my chair becomes. Me

I took off the afternoon and night and did some purification ritual-y stuff, read my book and went to bed early. I love the energy this time of the year

I love this time of year! I opened all the windows and welcomed spring into the house, although we really didn't have a Winter down here this year, I still felt the need to follow through ritualistically, cleansed the house and replanted some herbs.
