John #2 is the smoke???

How can the explosion have worked, yet they are now in 2 places at once? will the plane landing story keep going and bring them back to the island, regardless??? should I just not try to think too much, and just enjoy the amazing storyline???

Johns body is being used by another person. This person was talking to Jacob at the beginning of the show and that's why Jacob said I see you found your loop hole.

But, why they are introducing another whole set of characters is beyond me and running this duel story line of here and there. Can't miss a minute on this show.

But, yeah, like they don't have enough unanswered questions. Lets add 100 more in the first episode alone!!!

Beyond my wildest dreams! I love LOST to the point of obsession.

I'm back to dreaming LOST stuff already.

I was set on Locke #2 being the "dark guy" and that the dark guy was somehow the smoke monster, but I can't figure out where Christian comes in....and I can't seem to grasp where Whitmore and Elloise fit in? Even Richard!? What does it mean when "smokey" said, "So nice to see you out of the chains?"

And why with all those recaps did they never once mention Penney? And how come Desmond was on the plane? He wasn't originally on the plane? So it's not really a reset, it's a re-do?

I'm so blissfully confused!

And for the record, you can watch it all again on abc.com if you want. I watched an hour of it on the treadmill this morning!

Ok, I'm confused - who is the dark guy, and smokey??? was I not paying attention during that part?? I found the 3 hours a little draining.

smokey = smoke monster and the dark guy is the guy in dark clothes that wanted to kill Jacob. I am surmising from the conversation about finding the loophole that the three (smokey, dark guy who wanted to find a loophole to kill Jacob) and Locke#2) are all one in the same.

It's kind of like good vs. evil or Godly vs. Devilish. ? I don't know? But it's coming together that way for me.

I believe the "chains" remark is a hint that Richard came to the island on the Black Rock - as a slave. This means he's, what, 200 years old? My theory on how THAT happened is from the "temple will change you" remarks people have made. Is Sayid now immortal too? We shall see.
