| Flu So - we have several who have littles who have had the piggy flu now. What's your impression? What sort of symptoms did you (are you) battling? do you really think it was (is) worse compared to other flues your kids have caught?

| Really high fever, tummy/head ache, no nausea or vomiting except just at the end when the cough started. He has never had the normal flu, so I can't compare, but he missed an entire week of school and he's still taking naps and experiencing tiredness during the day

| Same as Dip. My two girls had the swine flu. Wasn't soooo bad. Was worse in my older one. I had the flu when I was 7 months preggo with my third. Was horrendous! I think the swine flu is all talk. It is so not as bad as the regular flu. Though it does still suck. |

| My coworkers 15 y.o cousin was just hospitalized w/ no pre-existing condition, because he got the flu and it caused him to have heart problems...he's on a vent now, very scary. I hesitate to just write it off as nothing or not as bad, but I'm glad we just got a slight case of it

| i know any flu can do that to you though... what was the first symptom you saw?

| My sister had it over the summer when she also had a bunch of other stuff going on too. She was laid up for about a month, on top of having some strange urinary tract issues and what not. She said that it was worse than a normal flu but isn't sure if it's b/c of the illness or all the other crap going on. (She also had 2 strains of strep at the same time  We get all the strange illnesses  )

| i ask b/c Ben has always been our typhoid mary and in his very tiny company one of the guy's entire family has it...

| High fever, came on out of the blue --he was seemingly fine and within an hour it was 101...overnight it went up to 104, highest was 105 and I was constantly sponging/bathing/tylenol, etc. That was scary.

| Dip, do you think it was swine flu? BabyE had fever same time as Pill, and It seemend like it was all the symptoms of swine flu, but when I took him to the clinic she said it wasnt, that it looked like bronchiolitis, or possibly Step infection... which I will get my results in tomorrow. | thanks for the article! it's pretty much what i expected, i just thought that with all the hype maybe there would be something else i should be watching for
