That stinks. Hope you find something that works for you and your little one. I already gave away my old mei tai or it would be yours. They're great for babies who like to sit up.

I have a lightly-used Evenflo front carrier, if that's something you'd use...it's like a Snugli. I bought if for e-bay so I could take my fat, geriatric pug on walks with the other dogs, but she kept wheezing in my face when I had her in it.
However, I ran it through the washing machine when I retired it, so it's good to go.
