I just hate the whole mentality. You're nothing if you're not the best. So whole hoardes of people grow up thinking they're nothing, unless they do some serious emotional work to breakthrough that crap buried in their psyche.

Speaking of M. Phelps, it's amazing what he's accomplished, but they are treating the rest of the team like chopped liver. They helped him win 2 gold medals! Goodness.
