It was right before the PA primary and I saw Hillary earlier that day too. Hers was like this celebrity tour.

This may sound crazy but I went a couple weeks before that to see Bill. On the way out everyone was waiting for him to come out the side door and directly across the street from where he came out was this little old man, all dressed up clutching his cane and leaning on what I assumed was his daughter. bill came out and totally bypassed him but went across the street to another group of people further down and then got in the car and left. He didn't even wave to the little old man. It made me cry. It really made me feel differently about him. I know there could be a million reasons why Bill didn't go over to him but to not even acknowledge him? I wanted to run across the street and hug him.

He is a good person. Mcains running mate Susan Palin has a daughter that is pregnant out of wedlock. When Obama was asked how he felt about it he said - family is off limits their children are off limits and I'm not taking this election there. Good for him! I think anyone else would have used it to raise issues on morals.

I love his idealism, and the face that he really BELIEVES that he can make the changes that this country so desperately needs. It's refreshing to see someone who wants to make a difference, instead of just empty promises.

I couldn't help but notice that the RNC, while putting Obama down - have adapted some of his platform.

In fact - when Obama began talking about getting out of Iraq - Bush and McCain changed their tune about staying for as long as it takes.

They - the Reps - keep saying we "must win the war!" and not lose.

I thought we were there to establish a democracy? What is it we're supposed to "win" in Iraq?

It's so much like Vietnam in that there is nothing for us to win - really. How can you tell one middle easterner from another? Who is the good guy and who is the bad guy?

Yes yes - I know we're there for the oil and that we're really motivated by the greed. "We're" meaning the greedy bastards that are leading this debacle. The oil business.

I'm ready to get rid of the cars and get a horse. No tags, no inspections, no gas. Lots of great fertilizer.

I seem to remember that we were after Osama bin Laden and the jerks who killed over 3,000 on American soil. That was the reason we went to war in the first place and it had nothing to do with Iraq!
