See what Karmic factors were involved. In particular, see what skills and talents you had in that previous lifetime. Forgive yourself for your past indiscretions. Forgive other for what they did to you. Realize that no matter what you were like in that past lifetime, you did the very best that you could. Remember that you are not the same person you were then. Consequently, there is no need for guilt or any recriminations.
