| what is their skin type: are they sensitive to heat ?
She has very sensitive skin and heat just drains her...she she tan some but gets very red from heat very fast. Some days she would rather just stay inside.
are they introverts ?
She is in her own world at times, and although she comes up to people who need hugs freely, she wants to come to others for her contact, not have people come to her usually. She seems to have an internal dialogue going on most of the time and be listening to toher things than what is obvious.
do they obsess over certain things ?
Yes, she will go over scenes in her head and ask about something that happened over and over for days. She wants to analyze why something happened the way it did, why people reacted the way they did, and asks about even more details about everything.
do they like unusual topics, foods ?
She likes to talk about motives, details others miss, insists on geting every question answered, and analyzes everything. She likes mainly veggies and grains...not much on meats most days. I don't think she is into strange foods though...maybe strange for a child to like...lol.
how are their senses ?
She is very sensitive in every sense...loud noises, bright lights, strong emotions in others, hot foods, and distress in others really get her upset and often terrified. Her ped said she is so in tune with everything she is hyperaware....I agree. She also gets super focused on something she is doing at times, so the only way I get get her attention is to touch her. It is as if she gets immersed in smelling, touching, seeing, hearing, and tasting everything that interests her, and it can really make mealtime last forever...lol. |
