This particular method usually produces small glimpses of may previous lives, rather than a detailed overview of one. One disadvantage is you have no control as to which past lives you will be returning to.
For Alone:
The rainbow number meditation method uses a progressive relaxation tenchnique to ensure that you are physically relaxed. You have to decide for yourself how to get yourself to this place. You can use some suggestions in the relaxation thread.
To begin-You then imagine yourself walking through a large, beautiful rainbow, experiencing the sensations of each color. Many people start gaining insights into past lives while still inside the rainbow.Once you are through the rainbow, you think of single-or-double digit numbers at random, and see what images come back to you.
For example, you may think of the number eight. While picturing this symbol in your mind, an image of one of your past lives may return to you. Enjoy the experience, and then think of another number. If you want to move forward in this incarnation, choose a number one or two higher than the original one. Usually this will take you to a later date in the incarnation you are exploring. Naturally, if you want to ensure that you will experience a different life, think of a number well away from the first one.
Questions to consider asking yourself when your in a life:
1) Ask yourself to see what you did for a living.
2) Ask to see one incident with the person whom you most loved in this lifetime.
3) Try to visualize what your wearing. Start from the feet and work your way up.
4). If you want to know what you looked like try to go to a room with a mirror or look at your reflection in the water.
5) Try to see yourself in a happy moment.
6) If you want to learn your name put yourself in a moment where someone will call your name.
7) Try to visualize your enviornment. Do you see building, what is the land structure like, do you see a paper where you can see a date.
8) As yourself what lessons you had to learn in that particular
lifetime. Find out if there is any karma from that past life that is affecting your current life.
9) Explore if you had any physical problems that you could see . Then ask if you had any talents. You can add as many other questions that you have with your present that may have been from a previous life at this point.
10) Finally, once you have explored all that you want then visualize yourself on the last day of the lifetime. Ask to see who is with you. Find out if you have any regrets. Then see yourself pass over into spirit. Move back and witness your death in a detached way it is likely to cause you pain or emotions. Look down on the physical body you have just left.
You will probably experience a sense of release as you do this. Ask yourself what lessons you had to learn in that lifetime.
To finish and return to the present, count 1,2,3,4,5 and consciously tell yourself your home and what your name is, visualize the room your in. Try to remember the following as much as possible:
1** Say the number one, coming up now, feeling happy and full of energy.
2** Say two, feeling wonderful, perfect in every way.
3** Say three, feeling as if you've had a wonderful night's sleep.
4** Say four, ready to face the world again.
5** Say five, eyes opening, full of energy and feeling great.
Take a few moments before getting up to process what you have learned. Once alert record your thoughts, make drawings. What ever immediately comes to you, then record.
Give Thanks for your ability to uncover your long lost memories

If your having problems try this:We all have invisible helpers who are prepared to offer us advice and counsel whenever we need it. These are our guardian anges and spirit guides. Spirit guides are people who have died and moved on. However, they still retain an interest in what is happening in this lifetime, and are available to give help whenever the person they are looking after requests it. Their main concern is your spiritual growth. They are prepared to help you discover your past lives, and will even guide you through the entire process if you wish.
Under normal circumstances you are not likely to see or hear your guide(s) by using your eyes and ears. Guides communicate telepathically and it takes time and practice to become open to the messages they send. Often their messages will seem just like thoughts until you pause and think about them afterward.
Meeting your Guide:
Visualize yourself at the top of a beautiful staircase. You feel excited as you know that your spirit guide will be at the bottom of the staircase waiting to escort you back to a past life. Place your hand on the handrail and slowly walk down the staircase, saying to yourself, "ten, relax... nine, relax... continueing until you reach one and you have stepped to the bottom of the stairs.
You realize that you have not yet met your spirit guide, but as you move out onto the floor of the most magnificent room you have ever seen, you see him or her walking toward you wearing a friendly smile after referred to as a male of simplicity (you may also see a woman). You feel that you have known your spirit guide for all of your life and you walk happily into their embrace. He/she will then lead you to a comfortable sofa and the two of you will sit down and discuss your desire to return to one of your past lives.
Once you have discussed what lifetime your interested in your spirit guide stands up and leads the way to a door on the far wall. He/she asks you if you are ready to proceed. Smiles then opens the door. You will follow your guide into the mists of the roomm, hearing faint sounds that you are unable to identify at first. But while you are identify them, the mist gradually fades away and you can look around.
Explore.
When your ready to return.
Gradually become aware of the room and the realization that you are back in the present. Thank your spirit guide for the help and support, and climb slowly back up the stairs, counting fom one to ten as you do so. When you feel ready, open your eyes, stretch and get up.
Process what you have learned. If possible I hope you were able to get a name of your spirit guide.

This is another step into getting into our subconscious to get answers. You can overcome the negative aspects of your genealogical programing by getting in touch with your subconscious by telling it that you're in control, and that no longer will you respond to its old, oftentimes defeatist programming automatically.
The best way to contact the subconscious while conscious is with the pendulum.
Making a Pendulum:
Find a stone that will help ground you. For example Haematite, Lodestone, or other healing stones like amethyst, rosequartz or the best of course being clear crystal.
The best way to have your pendulum is to have it magnetized. How do you do this. Simply use grounding rocks or use silk thread and bead it if you like or simply use it to hold (I recommend if using it to hold to have the silk thread no more than two inches with the silk). If beading or using grounding rock then you want your string to at least be 6 inches.
Crystals are the best as it's crammed full of positive and negative cells that greatly help in responding to the positive and negative in everyones cells.
The rock on the end doesn't have to be big but you do want an element of weight on the end.************************************************** ******
It is necessary to get to know your subconscious and become friends with it if your going to communicate with it and gain information from it. If you are serious about working with the crystal pendulum, it is helpful to have both the healthy skepticism and a rational outlook in order to deal with the unusual answers which will be received.
A fascinating aspect of the subconscious is that it has survived (so you can do so now) for so many lifetimes using trickery and deceit. It has needed all of its sometimes devious survival skills in societies that were not always kind. These habits are hard for it to relinquish, but reprogramming it with positivity is a challenge and is fun.
It is helpful to realize that we each create our own reality. While we are here on Earth we create our own heaven or our own hell, depending on our belief structure and that old programming we gbrought along with us from previous lives. We are either being kind to our body and helping it to work properly, or we are destroying it through wasteful living or harmful attitudes.
Pendulums can be used to amplify the positive through opening channels in our chakras. ( This is another night) but we can experiment with asking it questions and taking the answers and allowing them to help our lives and then asking our subconscious to let the negativity go once we have learned the answers.

Just found this while reading a great book on rocks. The Crystal Bible written by Judie Hall. Thought I share it with all of you.
Invoking Love
Crystals can be used in a ritual to invoke love. To perform this you will need four pieces of Rose Quartz and a large Amethyst. You will also need candles and candleholders. Silk cloth if possible too.
1. Place your crystals and candles on a table covered with a silk cloth. Placing one candle in the north to welcome the spirits for that direction as you light it. Then place the others to the south, east and west. While doing this welcoming the spirits of each direction while lighting the candle. When finished as the spirits to act as guardians and to keep you safe.
2. Then take your RoseQuartz crystals into your hands and sit facing your table. If your crystals are large do them one at a time. Clsing your eyes and quietly attune to the crystal. Meaning to let their energy flow through your hands, feel it open and expand. Touch the crystals to your heart. RoseQuartz is a powerful heart cleanser and healer, be sure to allow your heart to be purified by the energies of the crystals.
3. Then say outloud " I am manget for love. I welcome love into my heart." Place the crystals around the amethyst on the table and say outloud. "And love into my life". Sit quietly for awhile with your eyes focused on the crystals. When your are ready to complete the ritual, get up and blow out each candle, in turing saying "I send your light and love into the world" Either leave the crystals on the table or place them around your bed.
By all means let me know how it works and make sure your patient. It doesn't work over night but you should see results.

Out of Body Experience or Astral Travel
The Monroe Technique
In astral projection the conscious mind leaves the physical body and moves into the astral body. The astral body is one of our subtle bodies. Some people can astral project naturally. Others are afraid to leave the physical body and never are able to astral project. An alternative approach is remote viewing. In astral projection you remain attached to your physical body by a silver "umbilical type" cord. Some people see the cord and others do not. You are aware of things you encounter along the way while out of your body.
Step One:
Relax the body. According to Monroe, "the ability to relax is the first prerequisite, perhaps even the first step itself" to having an OBE. (out of body experience). This includes both physical and mental relaxation. Monroe does not suggest a method of attaining this relaxation, although progressive muscle relaxation, coupled with deep breathing exercises (inhale 1, exhale 2, inhale 3... until about 50 or 100) are known to work well.
Step Two:
Enter the state bordering sleep. This is known as the hypnogogic state. Once again, Monroe doesn't recommend any method of doing this. One way is to hold your forearm up, while keeping your upper arm on the bed, or ground. As you start to fall asleep, your arm will fall, and you will awaken again. With practice you can learn to control the hypnogogic state without using your arm. Another method is to concentrate on an object. When other images start to enter your thoughts, you have entered the hypnogogic state. Passively watch these images. This will also help you maintain this state of near-sleep. Monroe calls this Condition A.
Step Three:
Deepen this state. Begin to clear your mind. Observe your field of vision through your closed eyelids at the blackness in front of your. After a while you may start to notice light patterns. These are simply neural discharges. They have no specific effect. Ignore them. When they cease, one has entered what Monroe calls Condition B. From here, one must enter an even deeper state of relaxation which Monroe calls Condition C-- a state of such relaxation that you lose all awareness of the body and sensory stimulation. You are almost in a void in which your only source of stimulation will be your own thoughts.
The ideal state for leaving your body is Condition D. This is Condition C when it is voluntarily induced from a rested and refreshed condition and is not the effect of normal fatigue. To achieve Condition D, Monroe suggests that you practice entering it in the morning just as you are getting up, or after a short nap.
Step Four:
Enter a state of Vibration. This is the most important part of the technique, and also the most vague.
Many projectors have noted these vibrations at the onset of projection. They can be experienced as a mild tingling, or as if electricity is being shot through the body. Their cause is a mystery. It may actually be the astral body trying to leave the physical body.
For entering into the vibrational state, he offers the following directions:
1. Remove all jewelry or other items that might be touching your skin.
2. Darken the room so that no light can be seen through your eyelids, but do not shut out all light.
3. Lie down with your body along a north-south axis, with your head pointed toward magnetic north.
4. Loosen all clothing, but keep covered so that you are slightly warmer than what might normally be comfortable.
5. Be sure you are in a location where, and at a time when, there will be absolutely no noise to disturb you.
6. Enter a state of relaxation.
7. Give yourself the mental suggestion that you will remember all that occurs during the upcoming session that will be beneficial to your well being. Repeat this five times.
8. As your breathe, concentrate on the void in front of you.
9. Select a point a foot away from your forehead, then change your point of mental reference to six feet.
10. Turn the point 90 degrees upward by drawing an imaginary line parallel to your body axis up above you head. Focus there and reach out for the vibrations at that point and bring them back into your body.
Even if you don't know what these vibrations are, you will know when you have achieved contact with them.
Step Five:
Learn to control the vibrational state. Practice controlling them by mentally pushing them into your head, down to your toes, making them surge throughout your entire body, and producing vibrational waves from head to foot. To produce this wave effect, concentrate on the vibrations and mentally push a wave out of your head and guide it down your body. Practice this until you can induce these waves on command. Once you have control of the vibrational state, you are ready to leave the body.
Step Six:
Begin with a partial separation. The key here is thought control. Keep your mind firmly focused on the idea of leaving the body. Do not let it wander. Stray thoughts might cause you to lose control of the state.
Now having entered the vibrational state, begin exploring the OBE by releasing a hand or a foot of the "second body". Monroe suggests that you extend a limb until it comes in contact with a familiar object, such as a wall near your bed. Then push it through the object. Return the limb by placing it back in to coincidence with the physical one, decrease the vibrational rate, and then terminate the experiment. Lie quietly until you have fully returned to normal. This exercise will prepare you for full separation.
Step Seven:
Dissociate yourself from the body. Monroe suggests two methods for this. One method is to lift out of the body. To do this, think about getting lighter and lighter after entering the vibrational state. Think about how nice it would be to float upward. Keep this thought in mind at all costs and let no extraneous thoughts interrupt it. An OBE will occur naturally at this point.
Another method is the "Rotation Method" or "roll-out" technique. When you have achieved the vibrational state, try to roll over as if you were turning over in bed. Do not attempt to roll over physically. Try to twist your body from the top and virtually roll over into your second body right out of your physical self. At this point, you will be out of the body, but next to it. Think of floating upward, and you should find yourself floating above the body.
This is a Guidance Ceremony intended to help you find your power animal through a simple ceremony.

What is a power animal: A power animal is a spirit guide in the form of an animal, who will lead and guide you , giving you strength in situations where you need help. Most people, when they discover their power animal, are pleased to find that the animal is one they have long dreamed about, or has always appealed to them.
Power Animals usually has some unique characteristic that marks its strength. One way to discover one of your power animals (in our lives we may several at a time, they will come in and out of our lives), is through a guidance ceremony. This can be done alone.
To prepare for the guidance ceremony you have to have time where you can be still. You may prefer to have music (I personally like drumming or nothing at all).
To Begin:
1. Get comfortable and have read the instructions prior to beginning your ceremony. I also recommend you have paper and pencil by the area so you can write at a later time what came to you. Details are also important.
Most ceremonies are done in the middle of a medicine wheel that you built. Because most individuals don't have these I suggest you pick an area that is important to you.
2. Try to limit any distractions and have what you prefer (music or silence), have a cover because your going into the underworld and you may get cold. Please note in most ceremonies drumming is the preferred music as it helps you relax and changes your state of being to enter the world of journeying.
Ceremony:
Imagine yourself coming to a cave or passageway that leads downward into the earth. Remind yourself that you are safe and protected. You may enter by waling, sliding or flying down the opening into the earth. This may take you a long way and for others it may be a short tunnel. When you reach the end of the tunnel there will be grassy plain with many animals moving about. Nearby you will hear and see the ocean with may fish and mammals such as whales swimming in it. Above you will be the sky. In the sky you will hear and see birds of all kinds.
You then ask your power animal to reveal itself to you. Begin walking and watching. Your power animal will come to you and show you all four of its sides. Ask it if you may take it with you. When it gives its consent, picture the animal becomeing a part of your being. Return to the tunnel opening, and walk, climb, or fly back up the tunnel.
Be sure to Thank your power animalf for being with you.
It will be important that you bond together so you may need to frequently in the next week call upon your power animal. See yourself playing with him/or her, caring for them. You also want to ask for their name so when your calling upon the animal later you can call by name.
When you need strength, your power animal will be there. I encourage you to get a book or ask a friend (like me) to get you information on that particular animal.
At the end of the ceremony it is important to Thank the forces that have helped you. (keep in most of the time this is done in the middle of a medicine wheel) but you can do this from home. If you have incense, then fan the smoke in six directions then vision yourself leaving the area to the south position. If doing this in a medicine wheel you would thank the spirit keeper and walk clockwise around the wheel to exit from the south position.

Step One-get in tune.
Spend some time thinking about your need to view your Akashic records. You need the right reasons to go there. It is unlikely that you will be successful if you are motivated simply by curiousity, for instance. If your motivation is to learn something about your past that will enable you to act better in the future, you will undoubtedly succeed. Likewise if you are wanting to develop spiritually or mentally. It is a serious quest, and yo need to approach it in the right frame of mind.
Step Two-relaxation.
Once you ahve your reasons for visiting the Ak. records clear in your mind, you can progress to the next step. Find a comfortable spot. Begin to relax which ever method is easiest for you.
Step Three- Leave the body.
Mentally scan your body to make sure that you are totally relaxed. Focus on any remaining areas of tension until you are certain that you are loose, limp in every cell. Think about your need to visit the Aka. records. Then imagine that your spirit or soul is loosening its hold on your body and is gradually floating up and away from you. Place your center of awareness in your spirit and you'll be able to see yourself, relaxed and peaceful. Mentally send protection to your physical body to keep it safe while you are away.
Step four- Approaching the records
Once you have become familiar with the situation you are in you can allow your spirit to flow free through time and space until it reaches the Akashic Records.
Visualize your sould hurtling through a long tunnel and then coming out into fresh,, clear air high up in the sky. Below you see a small, perfectly formed hill with a white temple on top. As you descened, you notice that the green grass has been freshly mown. It looks soft and fluffy. the greeen grass harmonizes well with the crisp, clean, white marble of the temple.
You land in a courtyard infront of the main entrance to the temple. A large man is standing there, and you realize that he is the doorkeeper to the temple.
Step Five- ask for what you want
Although you are in spirit form, the doorkeeper welcomes you with a low bow and a smile. He waits for you to tell him what you want. you tell him your name and say that you would like to view your book.
He asks you to wait for a moment. He goes inside and then returns almost immediately. He holds the door open so that you can enter.
You come into a large room that is like a huge lubrary, full of rows and rows of books. You notice that many of the records are books but others are in form of scrolls and tablets.
The doorkeeper ushers you into a small room containting a large table and chair. Sitting on the table is your record. The room is warm and comfortable. There appears to be no light source, but the room is evenly lit. You feel at peace in this room. He bows again and then leaves you alone, softly closing the door.
Step six-explore the record.
You spend a few moments simplying look at your records. You know it is your record, as it speaks to you, telepathically impairting everything that you wish to know. You will absorbe the information in many ways. Some will come as a sense of understanding and knowing. Other material will be re-enacted in front of you, just as it occurred so long before. Mistakes, errors etc... will appear like clothes on a long clothesline. The line represents the thread that connects all of your many lifetimes and the clothes depict mistakes you have made along the way. These all need to be made right before you can progress further. They are all karmic factors that need to be attended to.
You will see magnificent colors reflecting the success other lives will be in pastel showing that you enjoyed a pleasant lifetime but did not achieve more than a fraction of what you were capable of doing. Still others will be in black and white. These were negative lifetimes. You may not have been a bad person but you failed to pay back many karmic debts and accumulated more as a result.
You will come to understand where you got your talents. You will learn where your fears and phobias come from. Once you understand the reasons behind them they will cease to have any relevance in your life (fears,phobias).
Stay as long as you want.
Step 7-return to the present
When you are ready, all you need to do is think that it is time to return. The doorkeeper will immediately open the door and escort you out to the courtyard. He will bow solemnly and tell you that you are welcome to visit whenever you wish.
You will feel a sudden pull, and instantly you'll be back in your physical body. Usually the return is smooth and effortless. Occasionally you may feel a sudden jerking motion as you return.
Remain sitting quietly for a minute or so before opening your eyes and returning to your everyay world. You will experience a glow of satisfaction and a sense of incredible well being when you open your eyes. You will also be motivated to make the very best of yourself in the future.
You will have gained enormous insight into many of your past lives, and you will have the reassuring knowledge that you can return to the Akashic records anytime you wish.
It's important that when you done that you record your memories. Keep notice of the lives and if you were a male or female. Details are important to help you understand what Karmic work you have ahead of you.
Intuition is hard to define and in some cultrures the belief is that you receive messages through your brow chakra. In this area there are actually interrelated smaller chakras which extend upwards from the ajna between the eyebrows until they merge with the function sof the crown chakra. Each of these chakras deals with increasingly fine experiences of perception, clarity and realms of subtle energy where deities and other powerful spirits dwell. The sixth and seventh chakras enable consiousness to move beyond the physic universe.
Intuition is hard to define, but can be understood as a prompting from all the levels of awareness beyond the everyday conscious mind, which some would associate with the unconscious or subconscious mind. Intuition presents a whole picture, an overview and an understanding that goes beyond the simple explanation of its parts.
Clairvoyant experience is not necessarily only a visual one; it is clear seeing in the sense of receiving clear, penetrating insight. The knolwlege thatacompanies the act of clairvoyance may include visual data, but these are not necessarily perceived in the wame way that we see the everyday world. The informatin is more akin to dream imagery and memory. The attention travels or moves beyond time and space, to visualize new information. For many people, it seems difficult to distinguish clairvoyance from imagination, and is usally referred to as onbly my imaginatin, as if it should be instntly discounted as an unsafe source of information.
How we receive information depends very much on the way we naturally interpret our senses. We experiences them visual, kinaesthetic or auditory.

Here's your experiment: Psychometry
This exercise provides a way of receiving impressions about an object, its history and owners. It is best carried out with an open curiousity and sense of fun. Don't worry about getting it right or wrong, just play with the possibilities. Practice with objects from many different people and places, and you will quickly develop your accuracy and the strenghth of your impressions.
1. Ask a friend for a piece of jewelery or a watch. It if is old and has had more than one owner, all the better. Sit comfortably and allow your breathing to settle, then turn your attention inwards and allow your senses to still.
2. Pick up the object, hold it in your hands and focus on it. Begin to process your thoughts, feelings and any sensations or imagery that come to you.
3. To deepen the process you might find it helpful to place the item against your brow chakra (middle of your forhead). After a minute or so put the object down. Turn your attention to yourself once again, allowing your breathing to settle. Turn your attention to the soles of your feet for a minute to ground your energy, then relate your impressions.
Keep in mind, I have done this before and if your not willing to pick up things that may be not always positive then this isn't for you. I have done this and have visions come into my head along with the feelings of the person and there is no way to predict what vision will come to you. The more open your chakra the more information you will receive.

When we tap our Kundalini what do we become aware of?
We become aware of our creative capacities and our radiant caliber.
We become aware of our finite relationship with infinity.
Kundalini makes it possible for us as humans with finite identities to relate to

What makes it possible to experience Kundalini energy?
When the glandular system is activated and the nervous system is strong
the energies of the two systems combine to create

The " brain in its totality receives signals and integrates them."
What is the result?
A new clarity expands our perceptions.

Is Kundalini energy necessary?
We cannot live without a constant flow of Kundalini energy.
The difference is the amount of the flow.
When there is an abundant flow of Kundalini
our mind awakens from its long nap
we stop living in imaginary realities
we become committed to our purpose and our service
we enjoy the abundant pleasures of life.

The Kundalini is always present as an innate part of who we are.
The human system was built to sustain the awakening of Kundalini energy.

The energy of the Kundalini is released from the navel center.
It rises to the crown chakra at the top of the head.
The energy then descends down the chakras to the base of the spine.
After reaching the root chakra it returns to the navel center.
The ascent is the path of enlightenment.
It is the experience that the reality of God exists within each of us.
The raising of the Kundalini is the uncoiling of God consciousness.
It is witnessing the reality of the unlimited power that is the essence of our soul.
The descent is the path of manifestation.
The chakras open in the descent.
As the chakras open
our essence is consolidated into our character
our gifts are integrated into our behavior and actions
our talents become a practical part of our human life.
The descent of the Kundalini is awakening to our potential.
It is bringing the awareness of God or Christ consciousness into the activities of
our daily lives.
The path of enlightenment is the raising of the Kundalini.
The path of manifestation is the descent of the Kundalini.
The path of liberation is both the ascent and the descent.
The path of liberation is the completion of the full cycle.
Our brain is like a library and we are the librarians. The brain is the part of our body-mind catalogues and files away experiences and informatin for reference and retrieval when it is required. To carry out this organizational task efficently it is necessary to be able to identify things clearly and accurately, to lebel them correctly, to file them in the right place and to cross index where necessary.
Failure to store informatin properly results in many difficulties. Confusion and fear often arise from false indentification. Incorrect filing also creates confusion, learning problems and difficulties in retrieval (remembering).
Here is an exercise called the Memory Game and it will help your ~solar plexus chakra~which will not only helyour waking life but also when trying to retrieve information when meditating for past life information.
Memory Game:
This game has many variations in different cultures. You may have to repeat this several times. If you reach 25 or more correct you are doing very well. It is important that even if you can remember only five or so items, you do not get annoyed or disappointed with yourself. Practice improves scores. It is up to you how honest you are with yourself when doing the exercise.
First find around 30 items that are small and place them on a plain background. Color of background should be neutral. Then cover the items with a cloth.
Second collect a pen and paper. Uncover the items and look at them for not more than three minutes (time yourself).
Last, cover the items with the cloth again. Write down as many items as you can remember. Try to recall the picture of the items. If it helps try closing your eyes a minute and look at your memory picture then begin writing.
Try building yourself up to 25. This will help later when trying to recall events in your life now but also when recalling events for previous lives.
