i have a theory that seems to be true from the people that i talk to that moms tend to click ad graphics that are cute, crisp and colorful and stay away from ugly and unprofessional looking ads.

i also think that we tend to click ads for products more than opportunities (such as work-at-home opportunities...unless, of course, you are actually looking for a wah opportunity i suppose), but this is something i really don't have a lot of input on.

can y'all please share with me if either of these things is correct with you and what other factors make you actually pay attention to an ad graphic and ignore others? i'm thinking specifically of things like the banner ads at the top of this page and such.

so, what makes you click and not click on ads? i'd like as much input on this as i can get! thanks a bunch!!

I've only ever clicked on banner ads that go to places I've already been. For instance, I wanted to go to Tarot's tie dye tree, and the banner was right there. It was the fastest way there.

If it looks tacky or cheap I don't usually bother. If it's overly glitzy then ditto. I look for professional appearance and friendly colors in a combination that doesn't hurt my eyes. There needs to be something informative there, not just a "click here" kind of ad. But honestly I probably don't click on very many unless it's because I want to check out someone who I've already been talking to.

Ok well...
I click on ads if they are different and have something i am interested in ...
as in
Hemp
Natural
Organic
Recycled

Ads for things such as chat rooms, forums or such I am not too interested in....unless of course it is a chat room or forum on the topics i mentioned above.

Looking professional means nothing to me

in fact i prefer things that look less professional( as long as they are things i mentioned above)

I dont think I am normal though
