Yes, folks, she uses her own breastmilk in the Mothers Moon Breastmilk Soap. And you can get three ounces for just $3! I don’t know whether to thank the friend who sent this my way or wash my eyes out . . . with non-milky soap, natch. The soap comes out of Winslow, Maine where the soapmaker also offers doula services, reiki, henna pregnancy art and belly castings. All new age-y things that can be totally awesome. But we’re still caught up on her breastmilk. And we’re thinking not so much. Because the cool thing that most women talk about (especially those with a new age bent - let’s face it) is the fact that it’s milk made JUST FOR her baby. | and most dairy cows wouldn't agree to share their milk if they didn't have to i'm sure.....am i pmsing again

| I saw that! People are so weird! They eat eggs and milk from other animals, but when they think about those things coming from our own bodies, they are grossed out beyond reason. Think, people, think! Trippy is a trailblazer!

| When I was pumping for Connor I asked my husband if he thought I should make some breastmilk cheese and he looked like he was about to vomit. But seriously, I would rather use soap made from breastmilk than from some factory farmed cow that had to lay in it's own poop all day

| I think it's wonderful. but it would be a little weird for me to wash myself with someone else's breastmilk. I wouldn't use it. But I do think it's a great idea. Breastmilk is powerful!
