Gifts for last-minute Nellies - Hippymom

Usually I get the grammas those personalized photo calendars, but I don't have money to get them until Wednesday

I'm not sure they will make it by Christmas unless I pay out the nose for shipping.

What could I do for them that's easily accessible, affordable, etc that is similar to the calendar idea? Neither of them like personalized gifts like lotion or whatever, so I've just given up on anything other than pictures of pill, pretty much

can't ya just give them a "coupon" of sorts for the calendars, explaining they'll be in a little late

I've already warned my family that ours will be out in January sometime, due to budgetary constraints

I didn't do them at all last year b/c of budgetary constraints, so I feel bad not having something on the actual day day. Especially when they flew us out there and will take care of all of our food/gas/whatever expenses when I get there. Kwim?

print pics from the computer and get either frames or brag books at the dollar store.....that should do it

I really need something like a calendar or something date-related...I send them pictures all the time, neither of them hang up pictures so they just collect in a corner until the next year

Maybe there's a local print shop you could do the calendar at?

If not I'd go the bragbook idea. You can always order the calendars for delivery there (while you're still there), have them arrive in your name, and it could be a 'thank you' gift for flying/hosting you.

And something handmade by Pill should be wonderful as well - a little silly craft or drawing. Perhaps one of those picture frames decorated in macaroni

with a picture of Pill inside?
