__________________ As the saying goes, when a door slams shut in one place a window opens somewhere else. After staring at the door for many years, it finally occured to me to go look for the open window. I discovered I like sunlight and warmth much more than peeling old doors anyway, so I climbed out the window and reveled in my discovery. | It was supposed to rain all day yesterday and today. It did produce yesterday, quite a bit for Tucson actually but today it's nice and sunny.  G has been running a fever since Saturday afternoon and saying he had a really bad headache. He started rubbing his face yesterday afternoon so I looked in his mouth and he has what I suspect is an abcess right above a baby tooth that has been hanging on by a thread for the past 50 years. (which of course he won't touch or wiggle because teeth freak him out) So I assumed that was why he was feeling so bad and made an appointment for this morning for the dentist. He just got up and is also congested and had boogers all over his face, so it looks like he has an abcess AND a cold. Poor guy

| We had a 2 hr delay this morning! Why? because we got 3 freaking inches of snow 2 nights ago!!  Damn.  Just discovered that my 9 yr old boy that we have sponsored for a few years now through Plan, is in Haiti.  I thought he was in Costa Rica.  I just googled his town, seems he is up by the DR border, so hopefully, he and his family are ok.  I am going home.  In less than 2 weeks. me and the kids. I am so excited.

| I used to squirt breast milk in the boys eyes... I did it to DH once too  .I always use tea bags on my eyes  I guess the daycare has me all uptight about it.The good news: No eye infection  or cold Dr.s Advice "Its a virus....Just try to survive"

| my eyeballs hurt. Bitch cat woke us up at 2:15am, howling at the top of her lungs incessantly. That little decision got her ass thrown into her box, covered with a towel, and shut in the bathroom. She then tore the towel up through the front of the kennel, but I needed those next three hours of sleep, so screw it. I wanna go home now, please.

| MB... that's a lot of unexpected snow  I'm at work now - Ellie had an ear appt this morning - looks like we are reinserting one tube and putting a new one in the other

| soo. tired.  we are still snowed in and running out of food. the main road is plowed but they haven't done any of the side roads yet. our neighbor whol lives at the top of our road has a plow- he had to park at the bottom of the hill, coldn't get his plow through our road and needed to make sue he could get back out because he's on contract with VA DOT. we're supposed to get another 10 inches tmrw and wednesday.... weNEED that road plowed!! and to to it off, AOL is taking vacation days for missing work due to inclement weatjer. only 4 people werre able o get to work today out of his dept... federal gov is closed so..... ??? js losing out on vacation time because he literally cannot get to work.
