I made my own with both of my babies. My SIL gave me the recipe and I've tweaked it over the years. I used to fold up the paper towels (or even the cloth wipes when I switched to cloth diapering) then I decided that it wasn't worth it. I just cut a roll in half then pulled out the paper core and they're just like the old ones from when my sisters and I were little. then I'd add about 2 C water, 2 T baby oil (or bath oil), 2 T baby wash, and sometimes a squirt of baby lotion as well. I'd mix everything but water (and obviously the paper towels) in a measuring cup until completely mixed then add the water and pour over the towels which I'd placed in a tupperware container that fit them. I never had a problem with mold as long as the bath oil I used had tea tree oil in it. (I got it from melaeuca) but it's really just a 1C:1T:1T recipe so if you need them less wet or more wet you can adjust it all pretty easily.

Thanks I may try those. D hates the wipes as much as me so we will let the husband have them.

Because I'm bad and rarely actually use cloth wipes (ridiculous, I know since I use cloth diapers, talk about a laundry headache pulling out the 'sposie wipes because I'm not smart enough to put a bag by the changing station to throw the wipes in) I use Pamper's Sensitive, or Parent's Choice sensitive (same thing as the pampers). Works awesome barely a smell

Thanks. I am thinking it has to be just this kind. I know the kids were babies we used both huggies and pampers they never smelled this funky.
