Dandruff: Recent research published in Aromatherapy Today, the International Aromatherapy Journal, indicates that Tea tree oil, added to shampoo in a 5% dilution, is at least as effective as 2% ketoconazole and 1% terbinafine in the treatment of dandruff. In the test, the subjects used a 5% dilution in a daily shampoo, and left the shampoo in their hair for three minutes before rinsing.

Has anyone had raindrop technique done to them? Its where you have drips of several oils down your spine so they can absorb through your skin and right into your blood stream. It is fabulous and will give your body a boost for days!

Sorry, I'm completely anti-Young Living (and MLM, in general). The methods they suggest for animals, specifically cats, can be fatal.

I dont use YL. Mine are from the happy soul. B/c they were affordable. And the company that makes the oils has been in business for almost 100 years.

I will never forget the first aromatherapy kit I purchased, over 15 years ago. I didn't do anything with the oils, for several months, because I was so intimidated by the warnings.

Essential oils are wonderful, and highly effective at treating many issues, but they are powerful and must be respected. Practitioners that suggest that their oils can be used "neat" (undilluted) because they are of a higher quality are just irresponsible, IMO. There are only a handful of EOs that are truly safe, in an undilluted state.

I dilute it w/ grapeseed oil if its too much. I think it feels great.

I didnt read the whole thing, but arent they diluting it w/ "v6 mixing oil"? I learned how to do it in massage school, so they are still teaching it. I only use 2-3 drops at a time, not 5.
