I was wondering what this involved today so I looked it up and here's what I found on it:
Craniosacral therapy is when the therapist uses a very gently touch to detect restrictions and then subtle movements, often on the plates of the skull, to assist the hydraulic forces of the craniosacral system and encourage the body's natural healing powers.
Applied by itself or in concert with other kids of bodywork, craniosacral therapy can be used to help relieve whiplash, head and neck injuries, temporamandibular joint syndrome, balance problems, effects of trauma and a host of other disorders.
Today, a variety of health professionals perform this type of therapy including osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists and physical therapists. One of the things it suggested is to check the Therapist's credentials in this type of practice. They should display some type of credentials.
Anyone experience this before ?

I went to an osteopath years ago, who specialized in "osteopathic manipulation". Or, that's what I remember him calling it. It was after I'd broken my leg and been on crutches for 8 months. I went to a chiropractor, who helped the pain temporarily, but never long-term. The osteopath, on the other hand, helped tremendously! He was recommended by someone I worked with, and I went with a lot of skepticism, but came out a true believer.
The co-worker who recommended him had taken her kids to him. She said it helped her kids with colic and sleeping, among other things. Anyway, see if you can find some recommendations. The guy who I went to moved away, and when I tried to find another person who did the same thing, I had a lot of trouble. Not all osteopaths do the manipulation.
China, my sister and her children are all patients of my friend, and she has done wonders for them so far.
Also, she told me about this english lady who was her patient a couple summers ago. Her treatment was incredibly intense. During it, she went through an abortion that happened 10 years ago, and which obviously she had not dealt with yet. My friend said that it was incredible to watch. She actually was reliving labor, she made the sounds (and breathing) for it, she moved her body that way, etc...
What I was trying to say was it is WELL worth a try
