CranioSacral Therapy

Ha anyone ever tried CranioSacral Therapy?
I've taken Megan, one of my 19 mo old twins, to see one twice now. What an amaing experience!
Megan has major digestive issues and is lucky if she has a BM every other day. He ped keeps telling me to giver her OTC laxitives, which I refuse to do. I am not going to have my 19 mo old addicted to laxitives.

So, anyway, a friend of mine owns a spa/salon and told me about Melanie. She's half hour away but well worth the drive. The appts are an hour long. This wman is wonderful and has a great connection wth Megan. She informed me that normally she gets half hour mayb 45 minutes with a child before they start getting restless and so she us of the time on mom. Not my kid. The first appt was at 10 a.m. and didn't end until 11:11 a.m. She was so intune with Megan that Megan ended up falling asleep towards the end.

She concentrated around Megan's abdominal and lower back area, basically that's where Megan was guiding her to. Megan went from going every other day at best to having 2 BM in one day, and once a day for the next 4 days.

We saw her again today and again, Megan allowed herthe whole hour. She specializes in Children and I can see why.

If anyone is interested in finding a CranioSacral Therapist in their area she said you can go to The Upledger Institute's web site and find one in your area.

YES! A friend of mine in town does this! She's awesome. I haven't used her myself, but my sister has numerous times with her children. She does wonders for sure.

R is trying to fit an appointment in with her. He's really looking forward to it.

That is great Free Bird. Also, CasgaraSagrada liquid only for her age could help with the bowels. A few drops in juice helps keep them regular. I use to put it in my kids bottles. Today I'm having to give my 4 year old some to soften and make him more regular.

How often do you plan on taking her ? Is there a suggestion for kids ?

LH, I take her every 2 weeks. That is the recommended for children. I guess it all depends on what the issues are and why you go. Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to get some for her.
