|  Homemade dishwasher detergent? Does anyone know what I could use as a dishwasher detergent? I do not have the money to get any and do not have any regular dish soap to wash them by hand. I have a meelion dishes waiting on me... and bottles.. oye the bottles. I have one clean bottle left  |

| I have heard that you can throw a cup of borax and a cup of vinegar in there and that will get them clean. Dishes suck! I will clean the whole house to avoid washing them, lol. H.

| I squirt a tiny amount and I mean Tiny, cuz you dont want it to bubble over  bit of regular dish soap. And vinegar in the rince thing.

| All the homemade recipes I have tried have been a failure, but you could always throw baking soda in the wash cup and see what happens. If you have any Dr. Bronner's you can wash dishes with that. That's what I use in a pinch.

| would the rinse dispenser be the "jet dry" area?  I didn't have any borax.. but I did used liqquid hand soap.  I'm afraid to look at the outcome. But thank you ladies for all the ideas. you know, I should keep a log of all the self made/ homemade cleaners handy I may have to stop putting everything in favorites.  a home made how-to book   |

| uh ohhh  Now I'm REALLY afraid to go look good thing though... I don't have a camera to take a pic  .. well I do.. just no way to send it. So there would be no proof of any kind of disaster if there is one  .. no mas, no mas. or is it no mal no mal. .. anyhoo... no blackmail  |

| I use a mix of dishwasher detergent, borax, and washing soda. It is an equal mix of all three. I have heard that you can use just borax and washing soda.
