  | Friends/neighbors of ours are considering this...but they will built it themselves and they have a special needs/handicap little girl....and she's getting too heavy to carry up and down the stairs....and then all her medical equipment and supplies too.

| My cousin and her husband have one in their house... the house looks like something off of MTV cribs... BUT the elevator goes up to the 3rd floor which is where they built *suites* with little kitchenettes and all for my Aunt (my cousins mom) and her sister (they're twins).... and one of them can't walk without assistance... they did this years ago in preperation for when they couldn't stay by themselves....

| In situations where there is a person with physical needs I can understand this. I live in a 3 story town home and after carrying up sleeping children/laundry I sure wish I had one. |

| I've seen those in the new homes they are building in town. They have like 5 homes on 1 acre.. all 3 - 4 stories high  Waste of green space if you ask me.  Very ugly home BTW
