side note:
i still take a shower while he takes a bath...then i get out of the shower, he has his bath-play time, so we're saving water, managing time more efficiently. when he can effectively wash his own hair (soon hopefully!) i think that would be a good time to do separate washing consistently. i know some people are really weird about that sort of thing, but i've never seen how giving my kid a bath could be perverse. we are semi-private about nudity, which again, i dont think should be an issue. if it were legal to walk around naked, id be like

! i teach him to respect other people's need for privacy, but make sure that he isnt uncomfortable or ashamed about his body.

my twins are 4 (5 in sept) and they still bathe together... and we shower with them (either myself or dh)

It's only a big deal if you make it a big deal

But anyhoo... I'd say that you just need to have a talk with him... set some boundaries

to Seek and Jo. My ds is also 4. I do the exact same thing J. I shower and he gets in and then stays in after I get out to play in the bath. Some days I wouldn't get a shower if I didn't get to do it that way.

And I agree... it's only a big deal if you make it one.

lol, it is kinda funny, i want to give him a nick-name, like Penis Pan, instead of Peter Pan (he loooves Peter Pan).

The other day when i was getting out of the shower/bath, P looked at me and asked "mommy, what are those big things on you?" i was like "Breasts. Most women have them, some don't but thats ok. Sometimes men have them, and that's ok too." I should have mentioned how they supply milk, but I was cold and wanted to get dressed, lol, my mind was elsewhere. Ill have to mention it another time.

Well, my ds also has (what I am assuming is a natural obsession) with my breasts. When I am getting dressed and about to put on my bra if he sees them he wants to come running up and grab them. and I'm reminded of what you said earlier, about not wanting to make a big deal out of it, etc. I just try to say that those are a girls private parts, etc. But what's running through my head is more like: OMC guys are obsessed with boobs from the womb.
