| Birthday Conundrum  LittleE is turning 4 (yay!) He only wants to invite 2 friends. One friend can make it Sunday, but not Saturday and the otherfriend can make it Saturday, but not Sunday. I was even being flexible between the two days so that they could both make it.. Alas, No. I cant just have a party with one friend  I dont know what to do  Help please.

| we had the same problem - we just moved weekends  N turned 3 this year, so probably not quite the same level of understanding as to the exact when of his birthday, but on the other hand, 4 might have a better understanding of people doing things and having to plan - maybe?

| Yeah, I think we will have a kick ass family weekend with him and try to plan the party for another day. I just put out the idea for doing it on Good Friday seeing as we will all be off. I dont know how he will feel about having his birthday and then having to wait so long for his party tho.

| Dang your good You know, he DID ask me if he could have 2 birthday cakes.... I think I can work with this..

| i was going to suggest the same..Abbeys birthday is middle of summer so we have had her party anywhere from 2 weeks before to 3 weeks after the actual birthday because key people are out of town on vacation. We also have a smaller family party on her bday or the closest weekend...she likes the 2 parties the twins will have to deal with t he same, their bday is 2 days before christmas...so we celebrate it the first weekend in december
